Atletico Madrid shirts 2008-09 campaign by Nike




Atletico Madrid or Club Atlético de Madrid is a club based in Madrid. Atletico home stadium is the Vicente Calderón Stadium, which currently holds up to 55,000 spectators. The club is one of the most successful in Spanish League history, having won both La Liga and the Copa del Rey on nine occasions, including a double in 1996. They also won the European Cup Winners Cup in 1962 and were European Cup runners-up and Intercontinental Cup winners in 1974. Atletico Madrid FC currently manager by Javier Aduirre from Mexico, and the clubs also have well-known talented players such France national keeper Grégory Coupet, Giourkas Seitaridis, John Heitinga, Diego Forlán, Maxi Rodríguez, Maniche, Simão, Tomáš Ujfaluši, Leo Franco and few Spainish national players as Mariano Pernía, Pablo Ibáñez also Luis García.

Atletico Madrid futbol currently wears its famous red-and-white stripes at home by Nike for about 6 years. Atletico recently have signed a new sponsorship deal with Finnish gaming company PAF. The deal, which will run until 2011, will see the company’s logo adorn the club’s shorts as well as their training kits that will see dominate Atletico’s website from next year.



Atletico de madrid futbol home football kits in traditional colours of Red and White strpes. There is a red collar and blue piping around the ends of the sleeves and there is also some aroung the bottom of the shirt. The club badge is on the left of the shirt and the makers, Nike, have their logo on the right of the shirt in Blue. The club sponsor, Kia, have their logo in the centre of the shirt and Kyocera at the back. The shirt will be worn with Blue shorts.





Atletico Madrid make appearance with home football kits in the red shorts during the UEFA Champions League 3rd Qualifying Round match against FC Schalke at the Veltins Arena on August 13, 2008 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.


Away Atletico madrid shirts is mainly Navy Blue. The collar is red and there is also red piping around the ends of the sleeves. The club badge is on the left of the shirt and the makers, Nike, have their logo on the right of the shirt in Blue. The club sponsor, Kia, have their logo in the centre of the shirt. The shirt will be worn with navy blue/black shorts.



Atletico recently match away kits, during the UEFA Champions League Group D match against PSV Eindhoven at the Philips Stadium on September 16, 2008 in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
