Malaysia national 2008/09 team kits

Traditional Yellow and black has been the Malaysia national team's home colour since the '50s. Since Nike took over the sponsorship from adidas in 2006, the Malaysia national football team home design turns to the old skool's yellow and black stripes; the same design used by the national team when they qualified for 1980 Olympic in Moscow.

The new Malaysia National team Nike strip combines the pride of Malaysian Football while reflecting a new era of performance and innovation. Both Home and Away Malaysia national football team shirts made in Indonesia, Showcasing the football association of Malaysia’s tiger crest on the left the jersey incorporates local flavour with the keris featured on the inside bottom left corner. The text 'Malaysia' is printed on the back of the collar Malaysia national team's shirts. The Home shirts will be worn with balack shorts and yellow socks with the the nike logo while the away jersey incorporates a striking blue that illuminates the players on the field will be worn with white short and blue socks. Technology-wise, the kit is constructed in a dynamic fit silhouette that creates greater tightness of the body, allowing maximum movement while reducing shirt pulling by opposition players.

Jo, yellow/black are the official colors of Malaysia's national teams since the 50s (or was it the 40s?) .. in the 70s, only yellow wa used the primary color until Nike revived back the yellow/black stripes with the kit back in 2007 ...
