AS Roma 2003-04 team kits

For my retro team kits series, 2003-04 season is Fabio Capello's last season as Roma's coach since manage the club since1999. Before signed with Juventus Fabio end the last season with Roma to 2nd on Serie A. Anyway financial worries forced the club to sell Emerson to Juventus and Walter Samuel to Real Madrid following the season's end.

Furthermore key players such as Francesco Totti (2003-04 Roma top scorer with 20 goal), Antonio Cassano and Christian Chivu remained. New signing players for 2003-04 season Norwegian international, John Carew from Spanish club Valencia end the one season with 6 goal for Roma.
Diadora also back as the club kit manufacture with the Mazda as club sponsor. These AS Roma team kits also can be purchase, how? click here to see if CFS have this shirt in stock and for their full Roma range visit their dedicated category.

Started from tomorrow I'm posted again the team kit collection series from Champions League 2010-11, World Cup 2010 and La liga.

AS Roma 2004-05 EURO kits

Troubled season ever for AS Roma were drawn in Group B on the UEFA Champions League 2004-05 edition with Bayern Leverkusen, Real Madrid and Dynamo Kyiv. Roma were slip into the last place on Group B and were eliminated with no win, five lost and one draw with Bayern leverkusen on six games.
The most notable incident during the season, Dynamo Kiev were leading 1-0 when the match was abandoned at half-time. Swedish referee Anders Frisk was hit by an object thrown from the stands moments after he had sent off Roma defender Philippe Mexes. Kiev were awarded the match 3-0 and were ordered to stage their two remaining home matches in the Group behind closed doors.

As I know AS Roma worn with the white Euro away kits for all the home match and the black kits as the away kits during the Champions League 2004-05 tournament.
The white away shirts with the "AS ROMA CLUB" printed on chest were worn during the Pre-Campionata 2005-06 in Roma, 13 August 2005.

AS Roma 2004-05 team kits

The 2004-2005 make the note as the A.S. Roma possibly endured its most troubled season ever, Four manager for the club in one season. AS Roma new signing manager Cesare Prandelli decided to resign when founding out his wife was seriously ill. Fomerly the club and Germany international striker Rudi Völler took over, but the German did not last long, complaining of a lack of organisation. Third manager Former Chievo coach Luigi Delneri, took charge, but the squad completely lacked confidence, and the scandals and internal fighting caused Roma to slip into the relegation fight and finally former club midfielder Bruno Conti eventually saved the club from relegation, owing much to striking duo Vincenzo Montella with 21 goal gain the club top scorer and Francesco Totti 12 goal.
Bruno Conti who did not possess a coaching licence are exempted from taking coaching exams because of his reputation as World Cup winners has led Roma to the Coppa Italia final, eight place on the Serie A and to a UEFA Cup berth during his short term role as caretaker manager from 14 March 2005 to 30 June 2005. AS Roma later appointed Luciano Spalletti as coach.

In July 2005, Roma was suspended from the transfer market for a full calendar year. Controversy resumed when Roma signed French defender Philippe Mexès from Auxerre, despite a rolling contract. Auxerre took Roma to UEFA court. As previous season, Diadora are the manufacturers of the AS Roma kits and Mazda the sponsor for the club. The home shirt is mostly Roma traditional colour of marron. The shirt will be played in along with white shorts and black sock which can also be swapped for the maroon shorts and socks if required to.

The AS Roma green shirts I'm not sure if the club worn in any match during the domestic league, maybe if you have any sources, please comment here.

Spartak Moscow is a Russian club, in the 2009 season, the team ranked second in the Russian Premier League table. The team currently campaigns in the RussianPremier League and are managed by Russian football legend Valery Karpin. Nike are the manufacturers of the Spartak Moscow kits, and make use of Dri-Fit technology which is comfortable and wicks perspiration. The shirt sponsor is Lukoil, written in Russian in red on the shirt.

From source these years Spartak Moscow what have done is pick a design template from a catalouge, they didnt ask nike to design them the kit. its a money saving feature (No wonder the home kits somilar as the Turkey EURO 2008 team home kits).
KIA Motors company has also become an official sponsor of FC Spartak Moscow and RFPL. Under these contracts KIA Motors has become an official sponsor of Russian Football Premier League and FC Spartak Moscow and KIA becomes the official car sponsor of the Russian Football Championship and FC Spartak Moscow.

Spartak Moscow away shirt is white white a horizontal red stripe in the middle ( The kits they worn from the previous season). The club crest is inside the stripe in the centre, the Nike Swoosh is above the stripe on the right side of the chest, and the sponsor logo is in a central position below the stripe. Spartak Moscow EURO kits 2010-11

Firstly, I'm not sure why Spartak Moscow still with last few years Nike design for the 2010/11 season new kits. Not for the shirts but for the shorts too. Similar as the Turkey national team kits, when they worn during the EURO 2008 tournament.

Spartak Moscow is a Russian club, in the 2009 season, the team ranked second in the Russian Premier League table, so will will see the team in the group stage of the 2010/11 UEFA Champions League. Spartak Moscow have been drawn in Group F, in which the team will have to face Chelsea, Marseille and Zilina. Spartak Moscow hold the record for winning the biggest number of top Russian leagues in their history, holding a total of 9 titles (1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001). In its history, the team has also won the Russian Cup 3 times, alongside other honours.

The new Spartak Moscow kit is a red top with a white band around the chest, worn with white shorts and red socks (the shirt is mostly Spartak Moscow’s traditional home colour of Red with the white band). Manufacturers Nike have their logo on the right chest in white, with the big Spartak crest appearing on the left chest, the jersey has a v-neck collar, which has a thin white outline to it. The club sponsor LUKOIL has their text in the centre of the shirt while the Russian

The complementary shorts are white with a red Swoosh, while the socks are red with a white Swoosh, feature small monogramme "FCSM" also on white. The sock were worn during the EURO match only.
