Napoli 80s font

Similar like the currently Napoli 2011/12 season team kits players numbers, these retro numbers likely been used by few Italian club in mid 80s. The back numbers are made of solid material and sewn in a zig-zag into the shirts.

Napoli 1986-87 Home kits

Retro collection again, the 1986–87 Serie A season ended with S.S.C. Napoli doing the "domestic double", winning their first Scudetto
and third Coppa Italia and was the best season in the whole history of Napoli, spurred on by their talismanic captain Diego Maradona. Central defender Ciro Ferrara got his breakthrough, helping out the team to win the trophy. The two new signings by Ottavio Bianchi (manager)
for Andrea Carnevale and Fernando De Napoli also proved crucial in the title-winning campaign, which sparked off fanatical celebrations in
Naples. Maradona scored 10 times in 29 matches and he was the top goalscorer of Napoli.


Napoli jersey season 1986/87 is made by Italian sportswear 'nr' ennerre for the second season. The shirt produced in new acrylic fabrics,It 's also the second year of the sponsor "Buitoni" feature their logo on the jersey. The sponsor logo is painted in white while the logo 'nr' and the
logo of Naples are sewn.

Napoli jersey with an acrylic fabric by "ennerre". "nr" embroidered logo was sewn on the left chest and Napoli emblem is embroidered and sewn over the right chest.

Bayern Munich mid 80's font

Bayern Munich players number mid 80's new style made debut on 1984/85 season home shirts. Design number similar to previous style, this new font just a little thinner and the modifications font that quite clear on the numbers 2 and 5.

Bayern Munich 1984/85 change kits

Looked same but its not, what i founded with these Bayern Munich classic Adidas trefoil shirts on these 80's era. Still same classic Adidas trefoil in style, a simple round-neck and a white three-stripe design both featured on this all-red stripe.

Please take note on the Commodore (sponsor logo) position on the chest. I've done some researched, and here few illustrated Bayern kits as seen on match. Additional new Bayern players numbers design was applied on the home shirts.

Bayern Munich 1984/85 kits

Still same classic Adidas trefoil in style, a simple round-neck and a white three-stripe design both featured on this all-red strip as last two season as the main strip. Other additional the German Commodore was the shirt sponsor for the soccer club FC Bayern München from the season 1984/85 to 1989. Logo printed across the chest. The home shirt was worn with the red shorts and socks.

Lothar Mattheus was new signing player from Borussia Moenchengladbach for 1984-85 season.
The away outfit retained all the stylings of the home strip and simply replicated it in another colour, in Bayern case a white/red. Also, as with all Adidas kits of the era, the position of the trefoil logo on the shorts would vary from leg to leg.

Venezuela 2010/11 kits


Recently I posted you the Vinotinto or the nickname for Venezuelan national away kits. To made it completed today I posted the home shirts. The 2010/11 shirt comes in their typical burgundy/vino colour with Adidas trademark three stripes on the shoulders of white. The side panels in gray predominate more in the rear, where the sides down around the back. Featuring on the back, just below the neck, a detail alluding to 200 years of independence, the eight stars of the flag are formed in an arc, and beneath the shield patriotic ribbons commemorating 200 years of independence. On the left side reads "1810" date on which Venezuela became independent in the middle "Venezuela" and the other side "2010". Another additional detailed Adidas Teamgeist logo was placed on the both sleeve as seen during the friendly match.

The home shirt was worn with the white shorts and socks with the burgundy and gray adding the detailed. The away outfit retained all the stylings of the home strip and simply replicated it in another colour, in Vinotinto case a white and burgundy for the detailed.

Updated-Venezuela

Just updated all the Venezuelan team kits that was worn on Copa America 2011 especially on the shorts. Next more Copa team kits such Costa Rica, Columbia and Argentina on the list.

Venezuela Copa 2011 away kits



Actually these Venezuela away kits from the previous season design. As seen was worn once during the 2011 Copa America quarter-final football match held at the Estadio del Bicentenario stadium in San Juan, 1126 Km west of Buenos Aires, on July 17, 2011.

This 2010 design Adidas three stripes on the shoulders of burgundy. The side panels continue to use that tone, The living burgundy predominate more in the rear, where the sides down around the back. The shirt will also in the back, just below the neck, a detail alluding to 200 years of

Venezuela 2011/12 kits


El Vinotino (the Red Wine) 2011/12 kits will act as the team’s primary kit for July’s Copa America 2011 tournament and its 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers through 2012. The
Venezuela 2011/12 home jersey will see action in competition for the first time on March 16th in San Juan when the Vinotinto meets Copa America 2011 hosts Argentina in San Juan in a friendly.

The Venezuelan home shirt is manufactured by Adidas. The shirt comes in their typical burgundy/vino colour featuring an asymettrical grey collar and grey detail on the left side of the shirt. The jersey collar with some detailing inside reading 'La Vinotinto somos todos' literally meaning "We are all Vinotinto' above the colours of the Venezuelan flag. Other features the back of the shirt sees more detailing in grey along with a touch of white piping, as well as this an FVF insignia can be seen print at the back of the collar.

The away outfit retained all the stylings of the home strip and simply replicated it in another colour, in venezuelan case a white and burgundy as the detailed. These new Adidas away jersey do not made any appearance on Copa America 2011 tournament.

Bayern rare kits 1979-80

I'm supposed started these week with six new national team kits from each continent Europe, Africa and south American.

But before that, here the Bayern Munchen kits that I've founded very rare and was worn only once or two in match during the 1979 to 82 season. Right illustrated Bayern Munich kits was worn during the Bundesliga match.....not sure against which team, but I have few references photo.

The illustrate above Bayern Munich away kits during the UEFA Cup 1979/80 match against Red Star Belgrade third round, Second leg December 12, 1979. Played at the Belgrade, Serbia and Bayern lost 3-2.

Bayern Munich 83/84 fonts

My last posted for these Bayern Munich series, I'm will continue rest of the collection later.

Completed Bayern Munich font series collection for your reference. But first check these two numbers style are worn on the back of the shirt the players, the first for the European championships and another
set numbers design that applied on the Bayern third shirts only, both number were printed at the 1983-84 season.


Bayern Munich 1983/84 kits

Season 1983/84 Bayern Munich outfit with two home shirt (what I learned used once) typically 80s snug-fitting design. These rare jersey included adidas' famous three stripes on the white sleeves, a wrap-over V-neck with cuff. Additional the shirt fabric for this kits included a horizontal shadow pattern, sponsor logo IVECO Magirus printed across the chest. These shirt was worn with the pevious adidas style red shorts and socks.

Illustrated the kits as seen was worn during the Bundesliga match, week 33 against Eintracht Braunsschweig, February 25, 1984. For note these kits was a change kits for the second period of that match.


Illustrated the second row kits as seen was worn during the Bundesliga match, week 33 against Borussia Dortmund, May 19, 1984. These home shirt worn with change short of white and take a note the number design style used on European match kits.
