Roma Hall of Fame 2012

As a part of the celebaration  for the club's 85th anniversary,
Three-time Italian Serie A champions AS Roma have created
a Hall of Fame to honor its greatest players. The aim of this
new initiative is to enshrine the memory of an elite group of
players who, since 1927, have had an impact on the history,
success and heritage of AS Roma and its fans.
Roma inaugurate the Hall of Fame in the early part of the
2012/13 season. Starting with an initial list of 85 candidates,
the club will first reduce the number to 55 and then, with
the help of the fans, choose one goalkeeper, four
defenders, three midfielders and three forwards from the
various players who have written AS Roma's history, and who have been
retired for at least two years.

Finally first eleven former players inducted to the Hall of Fame were Tancredi, Cafu,
Losi, Aldair, Rocca, Bernardini, Di Bartolomei, Falcao, Conti, Pruzzo and Amadei. They
were celebrated at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday ahead of the club’s 2-0 win over
Atalanta. Apart the celebration AS Roma also launched a special edition of its
2012/13 Kappa home kit to commemorate the opening of its Hall of Fame. It features
the official Roma Hall of Fall logo beneath Kappa’s on the right breast of the jersey.
